Who we are
A street banddynamic and modern
Founded in 1927 in Douai, in the north of France, the Marching Band FMD is a dynamic, modern street band that thrills audiences in France and abroad.
Since 2021, the FMD has taken a new turn and firmly committed to change and modernisation. Led by a new management team, the band is building a varied, popular, modern repertoire that spans the generations. From the great classics of the 70s to today’s hits, the music crosses generations and borders. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, the Backstreet Boys and the biggest French and international hits make up a programme designed to thrill every audience.

In a street, on a square, in the heart of a carnival, in the middle of a parade or in front of thousands of spectators, the FMD marching band turns any space into a musical playground. Movement, entertainment and choreography complete the music to create a visual, dynamic and lively show.
